Miss Dobrev

My obsession with The Vampire Diaries has escalated into my obsession with the cast.
This post is dedicated to Nina Dobrev, the face of Elena and Katherine. She can only be described as an extrememly talented actress for playing opposite roles in one TV show. I have not yet seen any young actress having the ability of playing such different roles in one place. If you are a fan of The Vampire Diaries, and why wouldn't you be? you will see that Elena is more of the goody-two-shoes out of the two female protagonists. Katherine is very much the conniving, evil bitch.
I wish I had the talent and opportunity to play such different roles in one place.
Unfortunately not as I am no actress and my passion lies in writing and creating blogs for whoever reads my posts.

So this post is dedicated to a fabulous young woman who is set on the trail of success.

Nina's Look:

Nina Dobrev has a laidback look of jeans, tees and boots during the day (very much like her character Elena) but during the night, the party dresses come out to play.

A Bit of Bite

It is safe to say that my favourite ever tv show is The Vampire Diaries. I've read the books (although not the latest) and I loved them! I have to admit that I didn't read the books until I had seen the entire of season one. They were a great eighteenth birthday present!

As you know from my last post, I received a very exciting parcel from amazon a few days ago! I've already watched it all because I am a tad obsessed with the show.

The end of last season was when it was known that Katherine was back and on a mission. No-one knew how or why but there she was impersonating Elena. She did it very well and the cliffhanger of season one was intense.
Season 2 started with the end of the last series to pull it all together and it has really been an incredible rollercoaster with a lot of bite since then.
People have died and come back to life. Katherine was up to her old tricks again, killing, manipulating and all sorts of mind meddling drama of the sorts. Damon and Stefan are still in love with Elena. Damon is the one that both girls don't want aka they love Stefan.
BUT now Stefan has turned evil again in order to save Damon's life because he was bitten by a werewolf. Oh, and there is a hybrid on the loose: the oldest, most powerful vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. Stefan's working for him.

It is safe to say that I cannot wait for Season three to come to UK screens! It's going to be Damon and Elena's season to shine! I have been waiting for this (although I do love Stefan to bits) for a very long time now! I just want them to have a bit of passion between them.

I hate how stunning they all are!

Post Presents

Everybody loves getting mail aka "post presents", especially presents from amazon. Back in April I pre-ordered the Vampire Diaries Season 2 and this week, it arrived! I've already watched the entire season. It took me about two days because I am that addicted! If you read my old blog, you would know that there are quite a few Vampire Diaries Season One posts. My next post will be the Vampire Diaries Season 2 update and how much I love Damon Salvitore and how there is a sneaky kiss between him and Elena!
Also this week, I had to order my books for uni. This year I'm studying Victorian Literature and Children's Lit. There are a lot of books on the reading list.
I ordered all of my Victorian books and one Children's as I'm supposed to read that before my very first lecture of the year! I'm going to try and ready it. Hopefully I will.

These are my post presents.
You can probably guess which one I was most excited about!

Gossip Girl.

I have just read a post from my old website about the bitchy and drama-related series. It was at that point that I was watching season two of GG and something happened to my friend that a lot of people were talking about. Sometimes, I do have a bit of drama in my life but not as much any longer which I occasionally do miss. As I said on my old blog, I love that bit of gossip wow factor at least once a day.
Now that I'm in uni, nothing like that really happens anymore. I guess it's because I don't know the happenings of many people anymore whereas in sixth form, there were always the rumours and the eighteenth birthday parties that everyone went to.

Anyway, even though my life is nothing like those characters of the Upper East Side, I can indulge in the drama series online and have my own little OMG gossip fix.
The bitchiness, the schemes, the love, the hate, the drama is fantastic and whoever writes the script is an amazing writer, especially for the character of Gossip Girl. It's witty and humorous and fits in with what is going on onscreen.

Among everything else dramarous going on with the characters, the fashion is what decides who is really who in this New York world. If you're not wearing a label, you are out of the Upper East Side. At least that's what Queen B still thinks whilst she attend NYU. Unfortunately for her, no-one seems to care about that anymore.
Whereas, for Little J and her new cronies, it means everything being the social queen and hierarchy of Constance.

This made-up New York world inspires me to make sure that you grab life and keep hold of it and that all the drama can be a little bit of fun in life to remember.

North Vs. South

With Geordie Shore over as well as The Only Way is Essex I am inclined to post a blog about the two.
I first started watching TOWIE in university at Easter when there was only me and one other flatmate there who is from Essex and so we had a routine everyday of sunbathing, revision/coursework, going out and then we would watch TOWIE. I have to admit that I never had any intentions of watching the programme. It's safe to say that I became a little addicted to it and watched the rest of the season when I could. God bless itvplayer!

After TOWIE had finished there was a little hole in my free time and then along came Geordie Shore, the partygoers of The Tyne! Completely different to TOWIE, eight people are thrown into a house together BB style and told that the one rule is that you have to work to keep your place. Fair enough when everything is fine and dandy between the housemates, but when there has been an explosion between two people and they're told that they have to work together the next day, it makes good television. All the antics of the house were hilarious and shocking. And I mean shocking. I cannot wait for the Magaluf special which has already earned the nickname shagaluf!

I've gotta say though that I'm gonna stick up for the Northerner's!

Plus, Liverpool is going to have a taste of both the shows apparently with The Only Way Is Liverpool and Mersey Shore. The Pilot of TOWIL has already been filmed!
Apparently Liverpool is the place to be and I am here.
I <3 Liverpool.
