Cowboys and F1 Drivers: Red Bull Racing Saddles Up for Texas F1

So how do you promote a Formula One race in the United States? Well, depends on whom you ask. For Red Bull Racing, the answer to that question is a bizarre mixture of lasso-wielding cowboys, helicopters, former F1 driver David Coulthard and an F1 racecar doing donuts on a rural dirt road in Texas. New BMW M5 gets an Acoustic System that Replicates the Engine Sounds in the Cabin

As with any new BMW, the latest V8-powered M5 F10 comes packed with an array of gadgets and gimmicky features, some of which you may like, some of which you may not.

One of the sports saloon's new features that may dismay purists is the Active Sound Design. To explain, this system is designed to –according to BMW- "accurately replicate" the sounds of the bi-turbocharged V8 engines inside the cabin through the vehicle's audio system.

DIY: Loading a Tractor In and Out of a Dump Truck

Unlike the crane operator we showed you on Thursday, the man (or woman, there's no way of telling from the clip) controlling the excavator in this video sure knows a thing or two about the machine he or she is operating.

Follow the break to watch the short clip and you'll see what we mean.

Video: Why You Shouldn't Buy a Fake Nardi Steering Wheel

An online aftermarket shop in Britain named Driftworks released a humorous video to inform consumers on why they should avoid buying cheap knockoffs from the internet.

After buying a fake Nardi-style steering wheel for about £70 (US$108 / €80) on eBay, compared to around £220 (US$338 / €252) for a genuine, made in Italy Nardi wheel, they put it to the test fitting it on a Nissan 200SX laying around in their garage.

As for the results, well, let's just say the faux Nardi wouldn't make the cut for a replacement on your Logitech G25 wheel, let alone your car… Video follows after the break.

New BMW M5 F10 in an Individual Frozen Black Hue: What do You Think?

Ever since BMW first showed the new M5 sports saloon earlier in the summer, and sans a white example that appeared at the firm's Frankfurt Motors show stand, the Bavarians have been constantly tossing around press pictures of the car in the Monte Carlo racing blue hue.

Cool as it may be at first, over time and after a gazillion or so images of the M5 F10 in the same Monte Carlo color, we think we've just about had enough.

But fear not, the Bavarian-loving guys from 5Post have obtained new photos of the V8-powered sports sedan finished in an Individual Frozen Black hue.

Car Game Review: "Driver: San Francisco"

Picture this: you’re chasing down an escaped con in a stolen police van when one of his buddies rams your police cruiser off the road. No matter, as you can jump out of your body and into that of suburban soccer mom, using her minivan to disable the escapee and complete the mission.

This is the main gimmick of Driver: San Francisco, the latest in a long-line of cops ‘n’ robbers driving games from developer Ubisoft. And it works, thanks to intuitive game play mechanics and missions that encourage thinking outside the box.

Video: In Russia, Demonstrating Against Illegally Parked Cars May get you Killed…

Organized activism is never easy, even more so if you have to deal with gun-carrying civilians. In the video you're about to watch, a Russian activist group called "Стоп-хам" (Stop-Xam) decided to take action against illegally parked cars on Petrovka street in Moscow (if our translation is correct, that is), by placing large stickers on the vehicles' windshields.

An owner, or perhaps simply a driver of one of those cars - a silver-colored Toyota Camry, objected to the activists' move and sure enough, a brawl erupted. The young driver of the Camry punched one of the activists and when the rest came to his help, he pulled out a gun.

Video: Lamborghini Aventador vs Gallardo Spyder vs Ferrari 360 Modena

If it where any other type of cars, we'd probably skip this vide altogether, but it’s not every day that you see a spanking new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 getting ready to eat sprint race a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder and Coupe, a Ferrari 360 Modena Spider and the tail of the bunch, a BMW M3 Coupe E46.

Of course there's a matter of who's driving the Italian supercars and what condition they're in, but it looks like the Aventador and the LP 560-4 Spyder pretty much smoked the rest.

Jackasses on Wheels and with Guns Terrorize Middle East Drivers [Video]

There's hooning. And then there's criminal hooning. These particular individuals shown in the video after the break no doubt belong to the second category with their idiotically dangerous antics.

Filmed somewhere in the Middle East (possibly in Saudi Arabia if we are to believe the Youtube commentators), the 10-minute long clip primarily focuses on the "achievements" of the driver and passengers of a silver Honda Accord and to a lesser extent, the crew in a Toyota Camry.

As if waving guns and shooting in the air on a public road isn't dumb enough, the wannabe drifters terrorize all the rest of the drivers throwing the Accord in front of passenger cars, trucks and even near a school bus.
